Poor Healthcare for Women around the world

It is no secret that the healthcare system is extremely chaotic, especially in undeveloped countries. The amount of resources provided is so limited, specifically when an individual does not have the money to get the necessary treatments. The lack of resources have affected women all around the world after giving birth. Around 40 million women around the world have experienced some type of health issues after birth due to the lack of postnatal care.
The lack of necessary care these women need after birth should not be a luxury. Many countries that do not recognize the importance of care after birth in mothers have a higher mortality rate in maternal deaths. These deaths raise many questions, mainly in what can be done to reduce the rate in deaths. But also, it makes people think, how disorganized are the different healthcare systems that they can not provide basic care.
Issues like this shows how important topics are gone unseen and therefore not addressed. Many people may believe that after a woman gives birth, that is the end to the natal care they need. But it is obviously not the end. So many women have experienced health issues such as  low back pain, incontinence, depression, anxiety, fear of childbirth, and secondary infertility postpartum. Unfortunately due to the inability to access treatments or not being able to afford them, these women often pass away from some type of health issue after birth.
The World Health Organization, along with the government of the country, insurance companies, etc. should work together to reduce the amount of women dying from postpartum issues. Is this impossible? No. Will it be difficult? Of course, but as a whole, these issues can be resolved as long as the mothers are heard and are given affordable and accessible treatments, doctors, nurses, etc. to be able to better themselves and live a long life with their families. It needs far more recognition than just the little amount it gets right now to fix the issues.
