Democracy: An endangered idea?
Democracy, a government established in the United States long before our time. But can it be that the U.S. is becoming too democratically flawed ? As the years past the U.S is forgetting their fundamentals: to provide freedom, equal rights, and much more. During the pandemic these flaws have become evident. Racial injustice, human rights being dismissed, not listening to the people's concerns, have become a part of the democratic government to be lost in the shadows of politics. For example, black live matter movement after multiple killings by government officials. The rise in gun violence, especially in schools, has been an issue fought by people in which the government is not listening. Many people are asking, what can be done to bring fair democracy back?
